Harrumph

Just so you know, I'm busy hiding in the corner, having a snit-fit about my latest stupid undeserved negative. I don't feel like coming out to play today. But I got myself a good dose of retail therapy this evening. Maybe I'll come out and play tomorrow for a Goodwill finds post. Maybe. After I wash my feet.

  1. I just saw what your buyer left you. How can shoes be completely broken? I mean high heels maybe, but loafers? C'mon! Those shoes look like tanks. Bad bad newbie!

  2. I have 3 problems with it: #1) Of course I didn't send her broken shoes, and of course they didn't break in the mail, so obviously she's lying. #2) She bought them on September 30. If you ordered something and it arrived broken, would you wait 5 weeks before saying something? #3) She didn't even contact me first to let me know. If she had, I certainly would have refunded her (even though I know she's lying, but I can't afford anymore stupid negatives right before Christmas). But she didn't even tell me first. She just blindsided me with the negative.

I've sent her a message explaining that (nicely). I offered to refund her money and asked her to consider withdrawing her negative. Haven't heard back yet, so we'll see...

  3. Is it possible that maybe she meant to leave that FB for a different item and made some kind of freaky mistake doing so? Ya never know. My cat walks all around me when I'm doing stuff on the computer and I'm always afraid she'll step on the enter button at the worst possible time. Meantime, I've got my fingers crossed for you that she'll withdraw the neg.

  5. Ouch, that hurts! I'm so sorry that happened and I can't believe the negative comments and to never contact you. Would it be possible to have Ebay remove the negative feedback, since the buyer waited 5 weeks, and the buyer never contacted you?

  6. I messaged her last night. If I haven't heard back from her by this evening, I'll call eBay. I won't hold my breath, but it's worth a shot.

  7. I'm sorry. I will never understand why adults can't contact the person they have an issue with rather than go running to "Mama" for the cheap shot. I hope it works out for you.

  9. Don't feel bad! I had a really annoying and expensive thing happened the pkg I sent got lost in the mail had to refund the guy over $160.00 and it was insured/confirmation delivery so it was lost or stolen and still haven't heard from the USPS insurance claim...it just happens sometimes! Also the last 3 bidders who won never paid me! Hang in there! Corie

  10. Hi Jessica,
I had a similar situation. You might try calling eBay and telling them what happened. Your pictures prove that they are not broken. The person I talked to was very nice and refunded the money that I had lost. I had not rec'd negative feedback yet but she even told me to watch and see if the buyer left me negative and they would take it off. Now saying all that -- I have a pretty "clean" record with eBay. No complaint phone calls, etc... Might be worth a shot.

  12. Well shoot - I just got a negative from an item I sold almost two months ago. Never heard a WORD from the seller until they left the feedback with "Needs to learn how to read ebay policies." What is that about? I think they were mad that they didn't pay and a week later I sent an invoice asking for payment! So disappointing!
