I found a big fat nothing this week. Absolutely nothing. This is the first time in a LONG time that I didn't even set foot in a thrift store. I just didn't have the time. But we have a short day of homeschool planned today. You can bet as soon as it's over, we're headed out to run errands, one of which is Goodwill. I hope to find something worth the wait!

I haven't set foot in a thrift store for almost TWO weeks! We were on vacation where there were no thrifts last week and this week has been filled with so many errands that I haven't had time! I might just have to drag the kids and go today before we head off to Vegas tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI was super proud of myself for costuming both of my kiddos for only $9 this year though! And they wore Disney Store and Baby Gap costumes that I'll be able to resell next fall!

I think this qualifies as a fabulous find. I had bought 3 Vera Bradley purses and one Vera Bradley wallet that matched one of the purses for $5 at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago. The purse with the matching wallet sold the other day and when I went to check the pocket of the wallet to make sure there wasn't any trash stuffed in them, I found a Target gift card. I checked the balance online and it still had almost $9 on it. Not bad for a $5 purchase considering I made money on them before even selling them :)
ReplyDeleteI found three mint pieces of revere ware at my local thrift store! Megan
ReplyDeleteI found this vintage copy of the book Barbapapa. It was just sitting in a pile of books I had picked up for very cheap and I almost listed in in the lot for as much as I can probably make just on the one book! It's a very sweet book. I don't remember reading it as a kid. I may be a little old.

Found some SAS shoes for men in great condition. Got 3 bids within the first hour, am selling them auction style. If it weren't for you, I never would have picked these shoes up. Thank you!

Oh, and I paid 3.50 for them. :)
