This Schedule C post is taking a lot longer than I expected. It involves a lot of research and screen caps. I want to make sure it's done right - don't want to mis-guide anyone.
Besides, you have lots and lots of report-printing and reconciling to do, right? So you don't need the tax post right away anyway....
Tomorrow is Thursday. You know what that means? My Top eBay Moments post! Yay! That post is the highlight of my week! Well, maybe not of my whole week, but it's definitely my bloggy highlight of the week.
Be watching for that tomorrow, and the finished Schedule C post by the weekend.

Great Blog! I'm so glad I finally found a blog where I can learn about taxes in regards to ebay. Thank you!! I have a question. I sell a lot of new items I buy from the clearance rack. I obviously save my receipts for taxes. Well, what do you do about also selling items from around your house that you do not have a receipt for? I use easy auctions tracker to track my items. So, do I just enter that as an expense, but will have no record of buying it? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks again for this great blog!
ReplyDeleteI can't answer that for sure. When I sell something from around my house, I don't take any deductions against it, because I've already gotten plenty of use out of it.
